Italia basses echo the designs of some of the most collectable instruments of the 60's, imbued with a modern and distinctly original twist. The popular Rimini line of Italia guitars is now available in a bass version, again with an f-hole, double cutaway semi-solid body mated to an elegant easy-to-get-on-with 22 fret neck, with a smooth rosewood fingerboard over a rigid set maple neck-to-body jointing system. A more conventional 'paddle' style headstock this time carries the four Italia die-cast machines, whilst a tune-o-matic bridge carries the four strings over to the neat Italia 'action angle' trapeze bridge, with the two Wilkinson MHB mini humbuckers providing the tonal heart of the beautiful Rimini bass.
